Chertsey District

Old Woking have a very good record in the Chertsey District Striking Competition having won it in May 2015 which makes it our 12th win in 15 years. For all past winners and hosts, please see the PDF document below. We have unfortunately been unable to locate all the hosts so if you know who hosted it between 1965 and 1973 as well as 1977 then please let us know so we can update it.               Chertsey District Striking Competition History

Guildford Guild

In the 2022 Guild 6-bell striking competition, Old Woking was the winning team. There was no competition in 2021, but we also took first place in the 2020 competition.  

Young Ringers National Contest

The Guildford Guild put in a band for the Ringing World National Youth Contest (RWNYC) for the first time in 2015. The band consisted of 8 ringers with all 4 districts represented. Our youngest ringer, Jacob Webb (4th from left in picture) rang in the band which came joint 4th out of 16 call-change teams.
